Little known, but important in the renewal of the Fiat range after the Great War, the 505 was the sober, functional and modern car for the rich bourgeoisie. Reliable and rational, it has also enjoyed good success abroad. The subsequent 507 was an interesting transitional model, with a modern and original style, an expression of the best Italian automotive design of those years.

This book tells its entire story, from its birth to its subsequent evolutions, accompanying it with numerous period images and accurate technical data sheets of each of the versions.
